History of cotton

At Zenifit we like to work as much as possible with natural, biodegradable materials, from renewable resources.

People have been using various types of cotton fabric for over 5000 years. It’s no wonder this material is still one of the most reliable natural fibers today, in terms of strength and durability. Aside from its long lasting fame and history, this fabric has its own personality and requires care and love to show its true potential.

Cleaning and maintaining

While capable of handling rough conditions, cotton fabrics are prone to shrinking if exposed to high temperatures.

With gentle washing, cool water temperatures and hang drying in air your bag will behave at its best.

Avoid the use of bleach to preserve the nice colors and turn the bag inside out before washing to protect the embroidery.

Your bag would also prefer ironing at medium temperatures, with special attention paid to the more sensitive polyester bindings.

Using this recipe you’ll have a healthy, long lasting companion for your yoga classes.

How to use

The Zenifit bags were designed to fit some of the thickest mats around, such as ½ inch thick. Yet larger mats tend to be more rebellious, unroll easily and make it difficult for you to put it in or to take it out of the bag.

Use the two elastic bands provided to keep the mat rolled for easy handling and space saving.

Yoga blocks get along best with standard (1/4 - 1/8 inch) mats inside the bag. Place the rolled up mat inside the bag first, then follow up with your blocks, one by one. If your shoulder can handle it, so can the bag.
